The Dreaded Captain Rant's Journal

Actually I got back a couple days ago, just being lazy again. (Also a bit jetlagged).

New York was pretty nice, in some regards better than expected, in others not so much. I had not walked so much in 10 years, though, and I just discovered that I can't walk 12 hours without stop like I did when I was 20, curses! I ended up so tired every day that after 8 pm I could do nothing.

And even with all my walking I couldn't see many places I wanted to see. I guess I will have to return in a few years.

It seems after a couple years postponing I will finally be going to New York this month, something I have wanted to do for a while.

Just a few days and just for sightseeing. But maybe I will be able to do this every year, I have a long, long list of cities I want to see.

Last Friday I passed the damn CCNA exam at last :-)

It took me three attempts though, and several months of effort.

I know, I know, I should write stuff more often. But I am lazy, and probably will die lazy.

Anyway, this made my day:

Oh Great Cthulhu!

I have been an extremely assiduous devotee this year.

In April, I exposed [info]shadow_weaver to soul-rending horrors (250 points). In September, I wore an Elder Sign (-10 points). In June, I rescued [info]catpryde from being sacrificed (-200 points). In October, I visited my relatives in Innsmouth (100 points). In March, I called down the wrath of Yog-Sothoth upon [info]hayzil (65 points). In August, I sacrificed [info]cyriael to Cthulhu (500 points).

In short, I have been very good (705 points) and deserve the honour of having my body used as a host for one of your servitors.
